Who we are

This site is published by Auto Mall Gabon, a car accessories shop located at Glass, face de la residence Thalia, Glass, Libreville, Gabon.

Data collected through the forms

When you use the contact form or the information request form on a product page, we collect: your name, your telephone number, your email address if you provide it, the content of your message, and the product concerned where relevant.

Purpose: to answer your request. This information is not used for anything else.

Storage: Cloud Firestore, on Google Cloud infrastructure, within the European Union. Requests are kept for as long as is needed to handle them and to follow them up commercially, then deleted.

Recipients: the shop team only. Your data is neither sold nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

We deliberately keep neither IP address nor browsing identifier alongside these messages.

Audience measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. The measurement script is only loaded after your explicit acceptance: if you decline, no request is sent to Google Analytics.

We apply Consent Mode v2 with all non essential storage denied by default. Advertising signals stay denied permanently: this site carries no advertising.

Events collected, in plain terms: viewing a product page, viewing a category, searches made and searches that returned nothing, clicks on the call, WhatsApp, directions and Instagram buttons, sending a form, clicking a promotional banner, and displaying a page not found. These events carry the page path only, never a full URL.

We also use Sentry to detect technical faults on the site. It is a technical monitoring tool: the personal fields of the forms (name, telephone, message, email) are stripped before anything is sent.

Cookies and trackers

Storing your consent choice: browser local storage, strictly necessary, kept for 12 months.

Google Analytics 4: audience measurement cookies, set only after acceptance.

reCAPTCHA v3, through Firebase App Check: an anti abuse mechanism that protects the contact form against automated submissions. It contacts Google servers and is only loaded on pages that carry a form.

Google Maps: the map is never loaded automatically. It appears only after an explicit click on the button provided for it.

You can accept, decline, then change your mind at any time through the Manage cookies link in the footer.

Your rights

You have a right of access to, correction of and deletion of the personal data concerning you. To exercise it, write to automallgabon@hotmail.com: we reply as quickly as we can.

The processing of your data falls under Gabonese law number 001/2011 on the protection of personal data, the application of which is supervised by the CNPDCP.

We also apply GDPR good practice, since some of our visitors may be located in the European Union.

Security

Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. Read access is restricted to authenticated shop administrators, and enforced by security rules that are checked automatically on every change to the code.

All communication with the site is encrypted (HTTPS).
